The OEHA Annual Picnic will be held at the park pavilion by the pond in the common area from 5:30-7 PM. Free food and drink will be provided for all Oakwood East Residents. Come and join us for a great night out with your neighbors. The menu this year is back by popular demand and includes fried chicken, chopped brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad, chips, cookies and bottled water. In addition to the regular food items there will also be snow cones and cotton candy. We plan to have entertainment for the kids which will include face painting, and canvas painting for all. And finally we are also trying to put a fishing derby together this year. Games will also be available for the kids and if you have a specific game for kids you would like to share please bring it with you.
In addition to enjoying time with your neighbors this is also a great opportunity to meet your OEHA Directors and ask any questions you might have about the neighborhood and a great opportunity to speak with your local fire and police representatives as well as your local elected officials who will all be extended an invitation to our picnic as well.
